This is a locomotive that I have designed for the National 2½" Gauge Association. It was originally started by Clive Young as a personal project but fell by the wayside so the Association has taken it over. It has been designed using 3D CAD and original works drawings for 'LEW' which the new build full size loco 'LYD' has been based on. It has been about three years in developement and drawings are now available from the Association. The drawings consist of 48 sheets and are very comprehensive. Rather than describe the build of the prototype on my own website I have decided to put it on the Association website instead but I will put some updates here as well. Laser cut parts will be available from Model Engineers Laser (some are already available) and castings are in progress.
